The company has more than doubled in size over the past 8 years and in line with that continuing success, they are seeking another motivated and results driven National Account Manager to join their organisation. Reporting to the General Manager of the Performance Ingredients Division, you will be responsible for the growth of chemical ingredients sales to a target market which includes Manufacturers of Personal Care and Cosmetic products. This is truly a multifaceted and technical sales role where your ability to establish & manage relationships, understand the scientific and chemical nature of your products and their effects along with influencing, stimulating interest and securing business is essential. Some of the chemistry you'll be dealing with, from internationally renowned suppliers include, but are not limited to, antiperspirant actives, emollients, dispersants, surfactants, suspending agents, emulsifiers and plant extracts. To be considered, it is essential that you are an Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident with a current Australian Driver’s license. It is also expected that you will possess high level English verbal and written communication skills. You will also be a university graduate in science or chemistry, or hold certificate/diploma qualifications accompanied with relevant experience. If you have worked as a new product development chemist or are qualified in personal care product formulation, this role could be ideal for you. Personally, you must have high level relationship building skills, be a very flexible team player, commercially and numerically astute, and a have genuine interest in this industry and role. The role will involve some domestic and international travel.
