The Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology is a multidisciplinary hub of cutting-edge teaching and research. The School of Agriculture, Food and Wine provides a world-class concentration of scientific research, education and infrastructure at the Waite campus of the University of Adelaide. Our agriculture, food and wine programs are at the forefront of industry innovation – from adapting to climate change and improving farming decision making to repurposing food waste and functional food development, through to sustainable vineyard management and improvements in fermentation. We are seeking dedicated and passionate casual staff to assist with the delivery of our Semester 1 undergraduate and postgraduate courses, commencing Monday, 26 February 2024. Application process: Please view available courses through the application form, to determine what work offerings are being made available for individual courses (i.e. other academic activity, marking etc.) Ensure you meet the essential criteria: Conferral of an undergraduate degree in a relevant field Good technical knowledge of the key teaching components of the courses you are applying for Excellent communication skills including the ability to clearly explain technical information to students Available and flexible to meet the minimum hourly/sessional requirements for the course Able to work collegially to support excellent teaching in the School Are an Australian citizen or possess an eligible Australian work visa Please note : Prospective employees are required to provide evidence of their Australian citizenship or working rights.
