Many of its academic staff are world leaders in their fields and graduates are highly regarded by employers The School of Chemical Engineering, teaching and research programs educate chemical engineers to play leading roles in the chemical, biochemical, pharmaceutical, environmental, food and beverage technology, energy and combustion and advanced materials industries. Dedicated to achieving excellence in research, teaching and knowledge transfer, the school offers a stimulating and intellectual environment in which to work. We are seeking dedicated and passionate casual staff to assist with the delivery of our Semester 1 undergraduate and postgraduate courses, commencing Monday, 26 February 2024. Application process: Please view available courses through the application form, to determine what work offerings are being made available for individual courses. Career opportunities available for casual staff include teaching assistance and some tutoring, demonstrating, marking etc. These activities will be dependent on the needs of the course as directed by the Course Coordinator. Ensure you meet the essential criteria: Teaching qualifications or formal training. Relevant experience for specific courses will be required. Demonstrated ability to educate and mentor students Evidence of good student feedback in student evaluations Evidence of good feedback from course coordinators As a minimum requirement, applicants will need to have a completed a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, OR be enrolled in their final year of a 4-year honours program such as a Bachelor of Engineering Honours.
