Superintendent Asset Engineering Date: 5 Dec 2023 Location: Perth, AU Monday to Friday | Perth Performance, Retention and Profit Share Bonuses Free onsite parking at the Remote Operational Centre (ROC) 18 Weeks paid Parental Leave for primary caregivers About the role: The Asset Management team is currently seeking a Superintendent Asset Engineering, to join them on a 5:2 roster based at Perth. Reporting to the Manager Asset Management, you will be responsible for leading a team to optimise equipment availability, reliability and deliver a high level of maintenance efficiency through the creation, implementation, and improvement of holistic maintenance strategies for the Mining Maintenance Teams encompassing: Wholistic Maintenance Strategy creation and review Asset life cycle and replacement strategies creation and review Operational Readiness for new fleet (working with Projects and Engineering team) Primary contact into OEM's for strategic issues and fleet performance Duties: Lead the Asset Management - Asset Engineering team in the creation of holistic asset maintenance strategies Drive continuous improvement and adherence to the maintenance plans Identify and assist with value creation especially in warranty identification, rotable strategies and stocking strategies Assist with the creation of the budget by feeding in the correct Planned Maintenance and component strategies for all the machines Develop, implement, govern, and improve the Equipment Strategy Process for all Mobile and Infrastructure Equipment Develop, implement, govern, and improve the Operational Readiness Process for all Mobile and Infrastructure equipment Skills and Experience: Extensive experience in either Maintenance Engineering or Maintenance Execution (within the mining industry) Previous exposure to Leading teams and cultural change Tertiary qualifications in an engineering or similar technical field; or, an appropriate trade qualification with a demonstrated combination of training and experience.
