Early Childhood Teacher (Kindergarten Teacher) Multiple positions available – Start Term 1, 2024 Salary - $72,354.62 - $113,906.90 Super ( Salary level dependent on qualification, teacher level and years of service) Yarra City Council currently has a number of exciting opportunities for dedicated and passionate degree qualified Early Childhood Teachers to join our Children’s Services team. The following Early Childhood Teacher roles are available from Term 1, 2024: Permanent Part Time, 3 days per week (Wednesday-Friday) – Richmond Kindergarten Permanent Part Time, 3 days per week (Wednesday-Friday) – Princes Hill Kindergarten Temporary Full Time until June 2024 - Connie Benn ELC Temporary Full Time until December 2024 – Keele Street Kindergarten The successful applicants will become integral members of our Kindergarten team, providing the highest standard of education and care to the youngest citizens in our diverse community. We’re looking for Teachers who is passionate about teaching in the early years, exploring Indigenous perspectives and trauma informed practice, potentially with some Bush Kinder experience. Desired attributes and experience: At least 3 years’ experience working as a degree qualified teacher in a funded Kindergarten Program, An understanding of the importance of Indigenous perspectives education, Bush Kinder (or other nature pedagogy) experience, Experience with Xplor or other online learning platform, and Ability to demonstrate a competent level of English, both written and spoken.
