CEVA Ground Transport offers nationwide road freight services which include linehaul, where we manage the bulk transportation of products between local warehouses and regional distribution centres, and Pick Up & Delivery (PUD) services. Our flexible ground transport model means that customers benefit from improved service levels and greater flexibility, including the ability to address seasonal peaks and time-definite deliveries, with operations linked to seven cross-dock facilities. YOUR ROLE Exciting times are ahead as we've invested in brand-new European trucks and trailers as part of our national fleet. We're seeking expressions of interest from experienced drivers to join our SA Linehaul / Intrastate Drivers, based out of Wingfield. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? Undertake depot-to-depot, direct and changeover runs Perform bulk pickup, drop-off and unload Operate the vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, complying with regulatory requirements and CEVA policies Ensure the safe handling and restraint of freight at all locations in conjunction with depot-based teams Complete documentation relating to trips, such as pre-starts, work diary, delivery dockets and timesheets. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Our ideal candidate has experience in linehaul driving and a current MC driver licence together with: Good understanding of CoR inc Fatigue, mass & dimensions, maintenance & load restraint, loading and unloading of general freight Good reliability, work ethic, communication skills and attention to detail. In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to complete a medical assessment, driver assessment, and national police check.
