The role We are currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our Industrial Services to lead Engineering support to operational team in execution of project works. Our Industrial Services team provide services in disciplines across Chemical Cleaning & Decontamination, Industrial Cleaning, High Pressure Water Jetting, Pre & Commissioning services, general Mechanical Equipment Services, Valves Services, Flange Management and SMP. Your direct approach will support the Tenders team in submissions, as well as the planning and engineering performance of projects spanning various sizes and disciplines. The role entails direct client liaison, ensuring projects are successfully delivered from initiation to completion. Key responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for numerous services, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project goals. Oversee the allocation and management of resources, including personnel, subcontractors, and equipment. Maintain effective communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle, addressing concerns, providing updates, and ensuring client satisfaction. The principal Engineer for engineering execution for internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with the Tenders team, providing engineering support in the preparation of project submissions, including cost estimation and proposal development. Implement and monitor quality assurance processes, conducting regular checks on project work to ensure compliance with standards and specifications. Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards and procedures, both internal and client specific. Oversee the commissioning process, ensuring that systems and equipment are installed, tested, and operational according to project requirements. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project engineering processes, identifying areas for optimization and efficiency gains. Qualifications and experience Degree qualified in relevant engineering discipline. Relevant experience in Oil and Gas industry with a strong focus on Industrial Services, such as Chemical cleaning and Decontamination. Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar roles and 8 years industry experience. Experienced in completing pre-engineering for one or more discipline, specific equipment, perform and witness function test, organize field personnel into working teams and plan safe execution of a project.
