SELECTION CRITERIA Holds all qualifications and training specified as required for the role Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, evaluating and critically reflecting to provide high-quality, inclusive, educational programs Proven understanding of child development and knowledge of appropriate strategies for interacting with young children Demonstrated experience in effectively supervising and children and maintaining a clean and safe environment Experience in supervising a team, including ability to coach and develop staff, and providing feedback Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and model best practice and continuous improvement Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills Sound understanding and knowledge of the regulations and laws related to early childhood (eg Child Protection, NQF, WHS) Ability and willingness to contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture ABOUT US Mia Mia is the early childhood demonstration school for the Macquarie School of Education, providing students, researchers, academics, and other educators with premium opportunities for professional learning, mentoring, observation, and research.
