You will be responsible for carrying out tasks associated with managing technical lineage, metadata ingestion, data quality monitoring, and establishing connectivity with data sources across the organisation. Additionally, you'll be tasked with facilitating the integration of new data sources into data governance, data quality, analytics and master data management tools, documenting and preserving technical data lineage to trace and oversee data movements through systems, transformations, and processes. This includes configuring and establishing new development tools and infrastructure, drafting specification documents, as well as conducting tests and analysing code authored by others to assess outcomes. What we look for in a successful candidate: First and foremost, you will have proven experience in software or data engineering, possessing hands-on proficiency with tools such as Collibra, Informatica, ETL, PL/SQL, Unix, Linux, SQL, SSIS, DataStage, GitHub, Python, Ansible, Terraform, Java, Docker, and similar technologies. Additional advantageous qualifications include experience in a DevOps environment, current AWS and/or Google Cloud certifications, practical familiarity with configuration and deployment tools, and expertise in infrastructure as code.
