As our Group Manager, Learning Strategy and Design reporting to the General Manager, Learning & Development, you will engage with key stakeholders to create a strategic learning & development plan and deliver key initiatives for The Star. You will lead a small Learning Strategy & Design team to develop a clear learning strategy that meets regulatory expectations and uplifts capability across the group. A few of your responsibilities: Ensure all learning initiatives are compliant by design, and everything we do is aligned to our Purpose, Values & Principles. Establish & run a Learning Council and other governance forums as needed, to engage senior leaders, align on the priority learning needs, and secure the required investment and resourcing. Consult with key stakeholders to determine the desired learning needs and ensure that training solutions are fit for purpose. Efficiently manage the training & development budget, allocating resources to priority and regulatory-driven initiatives. Prioritise the highest-value learning opportunities to develop an annual L&D plan What we are looking for: Extensive experience in designing and managing training programs within a regulated industry, with experience in a leadership role. Strategic thinker with the ability to align training initiatives with regulatory requirements Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Learning & Development, Organisational Psychology, Adult Learning) Positive, solution focused demeanor with the ability to work through others and drive a collaborative team environment Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex regulatory information clearly. You are a seasoned L&D leader with strong consultation and planning skills, and in-depth knowledge of adult learning principles, regulatory requirements, and contemporary leadership development initiatives.
