Identify and resolve electrical and automated system faults to minimise downtime for the Automation, Telemetry, and Communications Systems and associated assets. Capture and store data to provide data for the maintenance management system and other related service systems. Provide specialised technical advice and site specific knowledge for planning, conceptualisation, testing, implementing and security of, Automation, Telemetry, and Communications systems to reduce implementation risks and optimise performance. Plan, procure, and manage SCADA maintenance projects, to achieve productivity and quality outcomes and ensure that all contractors are trained and qualified Provide specialist electrical technical advice and also inspect, audit and approve project electrical work for compliance to Australian Standards, Regulations and WaterNSW standards. What we are looking for: Certificate III in Electro-technology Electrician and Qualified Supervisors Certificate – Electrical Expertise in SCADA, Automation and PLC's Demonstrated expertise in the maintenance of water infrastructure and ability to produce technical documentation. Experience in the operation and maintenance of water infrastructure involving SCADA equipment and associated electrical and mechanical equipment. Proven ability to find/rectify faults and maintain SCADA systems from SCADA server to site instrumentation. Expertise in maintaining, fault finding, and programming Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and other field controllers, and with relational data base management.
