They are represented in over 25 countries and operate in 3 specialised markets in the healthcare space. They are looking for a Melbourne West based Account Manager/Product Sales Specialist who is seeking something different and very niche. With a focus on the development of new business and account management, this position will take you to the next level of your sales career. This is an opportunity for a dynamic sales professional to join this surgical ophthalmology team, based in Melbourne, looking after accounts to the west of Melbourne. You will be responsible for sales and ongoing support of this product portfolio including supporting ophthalmologists in operating theatre, clinical training and education. Some of the key responsibilities of this role include achieving set sales targets and developing new business while delivering outstanding customer service. The role will have a strong mix of account management, clinical support and business development and you will build strong relationships with your customers and provide technical product support to ophthalmic surgeons, orthoptists, clinical and clerical staff. If you have medical device industry sales experience, in the surgical/operating theatre environment, or you work or have worked in pharma, selling ophthalmology related prescription medicines or you are an orthoptist, optometrist, ophthalmic theatre nurse, and you are a quick learner, with the aptitude to attain and transfer technical information we would like to talk to you asap.
