Position Summary Purpose The Regional Sales Manager is a key leadership position, playing a pivotal role in leading and executing sales plans to achieve and exceed order intake, revenue, and margin targets. Primary responsibilities include leadership to a high performing sales team, offering guidance, coaching, and support to ensure individuals and the regions collective success. Close collaboration with Global Account Directors, Profit and Loss management, and commercial teams will be crucial in aligning sales strategies with the overall business objectives and long-term goals. Additionally, the regional sales manager will be responsible for overseeing monthly reporting, analyzing key performance indicators, and providing insights to drive continuous improvement. Improving adoption and usage of sales tool and processes is a key requirement for the position Duties & Responsibilities Functions ESSENTIAL § Develop and execute effective sales strategies in alignment with the short-, mid-, and long-term plans for IMDS, as well as enterprise strategic objectives. § Conduct analysis of market and customer trends to identify tactical opportunities, ensuring Oceaneering maintains optimal positioning for proactive responses. § Hold a global key account in the home region focusing on building relationships and introducing value for both Oceaneering and the customer. § Develop and monitor progress towards achieving regional sales plans and forecast. § Monitor and assess sales performance against predetermined targets, holding the team accountable to the sales targets and KPIs. § Provide strong leadership and direction to the regional sales team, offering coaching and feedback to improve individual and team performance. § Maintain an organization that is fit for purpose, overseeing individual development plans to facilitate the achievement of performance goals. § Work in close collaboration with regional profit and loss management to ensure regional strategies are in alignment to strategy and achieving the annual operating plans. § Collaborate with Global Account Directors to ensure growth in wallet share from global key accounts. § Monitor the regional sales budget, ensuring efficient use of resources to maximize effectiveness. § Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual required reports on sales activities. § Play a pivotal role in the adoption and usage of sales tools such as CRM, Miller Heiman, Dynamics in both the regional sales manager role as well as within the regional sales teams. § Ensure sales team operates in compliance with the company policies and standards. NON-ESSENTIAL § Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities This position will have direct supervisory responsibilities. Key Account Managers manager(s) will be assigned to work for the regional sales manager Qualifications Qualifications REQUIRED § Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent related work experience. § 10 years related experience in Oil & Gas industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience. § Demonstrated success selling various products across multiple business lines. § Business acumen to understand risk and challenges and demonstrable track record delivering large multimillion-dollar sales results annually, including successfully winning large and strategic projects. § Working knowledge of and competent in Microsoft Office, CRM and Internet/Social Selling. § Understanding of Miller Heiman sales tools DESIRED § MBA or Business Degree § Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications as well as CRM and Power BI software § Fluent in English Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics § Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals. § Ability to write reports, business correspondence and business presentations. § Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and internal customers. § Ensures that important information from accounts is shared with organization and others as appropriate. § Gives and receives constructive feedback. § Ensures that regular consistent communication takes place within area of responsibility.
