Geotechnical Engineer — West Perth, Perth

Golder has a number of casual contract opportunities for Geotechnical Engineers at different levels of experience to join our team on based in Perth . You will be working on a variety of civil infrastructure projects in Perth and across WA. Key duties and responsibilities will include: Carrying out assignments/ projects under the general direction of more senior engineers Assisting with project planning and deliverables of technical complexity Coordinating and/or conducting geotechnical investigations including interpreting geotechnical data, performing analysis and drawing conclusions/ recommendations Preparing geotechnical reports and undertaking field assignments Conducting high quality characterization of materials Preparing proposals and reports for clients with appropriate senior review Maintaining client contact and customer liaison Identifying safety hazards and completing OH&S incident reporting Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field, as well as relevant experience in Geotechnical Engineering Solid fieldwork experience in various geological conditions Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail Well-developed oral and written communication skills Good Project Management skills and the ability to establish and build relationships with clients Your benefits at Golder will include: Deepen your expertise in a dynamic work environment Innovative and collaborative multidisciplinary projects On the job training, mentoring and coaching Global projects and travel opportunities Renowned for technical excellence, Golder is a leading, global employee-owned engineering and consulting firm with over a half century of successful service to its clients.
