Read on Further Information As a Casual Learning Content Designer you will be working within Instaclustr's Engineering Capability Development Team, within the Product division, and reporting to the Manager, Engineering Capability Development. The team's activities revolve around three key strategic objectives: Supporting Instaclustr's growth by accelerating the acquisition of the knowledge and skills Supporting Instaclustr people to progress along their chosen skills and career development pathways Creating a culture of deliberate learning where all team members are committed to professional development and have access to the resource they need. What You Will Be Doing The Casual Learning Content Designer will support the team and Instaclustr by designing content for learning modules intended to accelerate and streamline the development of Instaclustr's workforce. The prospective students are adults with a very strong technical background. They are also spread across different countries and time zones, with a diversity of cultural backgrounds. Produce contemporary and engaging learning material in different formats (courses, videos, presentations, interactive activities, live sessions, handouts) Support the logistic of scheduling talks and training sessions, gathering feedback and assessing attendance. Contribute to the design of non-accredited learning content for an adult and technically minded audience in an online and blended environment including: Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather content and formulate assessment activities. Liaise with subject matter experts to curate, reuse and adapt existing content and to create new content. Job Requirements Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Passion for Learning and Development, and creating new ways of developing skills. Willingness to learn eLearning design software (Articulate, Canva, Canvas LMS). Familiarity would be a plus Awareness of adult learning principles is desirable.
