Position Summary Position Summary The Maintenance Project Engineer in the Offshore Projects Group is an integral member of the maintenance project execution team. As the project engineer, you will have an opportunity to work on a long-term storage and maintenance contract for subsea equipment. You will have the opportunity to work with an experienced maintenance team and interesting equipment to ensure successful deployment for an offshore emergency campaign. We are seeking applications from experienced Project Engineers to complement our highly skilled team in Jandakot, Western Australia. Duties & Responsibilities The main responsibilities of the role are: Core Function: Ensure that Oceaneering Health and Safety policies and procedures are always understood and adhered to by the project team and subcontractors. Show leadership by visibly always promoting a strong HSE culture to all project personnel, both offsite and office based, subcontractors and clients and ensure that the necessary Health and Safety performance standards are met. Ensure that appropriate risk assessments have been undertaken/are in place for carrying out project activities. Regular participation in the observation card system, Oceaneering Life Saving Rules, self-verifications and STOP audits. Project Planning & Execution: Review project information including proposal/plan/PO scope of work etc. to determine time frame, funding limitations, project risk and opportunities, procedures for accomplishing project, Ensure a project schedule is compiled agreed with the client and communicated to all stakeholders. Ensure project quality requirements are defined in relative plans drawings & specifications and agreed with the client. Ensure project procurement is planned to be conducted within the defined project budget, timeframe and complying with Oceaneering procurement processes and procedures. Conduct an internal kick off meeting with all stakeholders to clearly communicate project requirements, deliverables, timeline, responsibilities and HSEQ metrics. Ensure project maintenance scope is managed throughout the lifecycle of the project. Where applicable the Management of Change (MOC) and Technical queries to be raised and closed to manage any changes of scope, schedule from the baseline plan as set out in the project planning phase; Ensure project maintenance activities are adequately monitored and controlled in a project schedule throughout the project's lifecycle. All updates to project schedule to be clearly agreed and communicated to management and the client. Ensure project stakeholders are identified and project communications are delivered according to client and management expectations. Coordinate stakeholder engagement throughout the lifecycle of the project. Meet all agreed project deliverables to the client through creation of regular monthly report, inspection update, investigation outcome, purchase plan, etc. Ensure all invoicing is completed with required backup documentation and submitted to the client prior to monthly cut-off due date. Ensure project filing is completed, uploaded, controlled, and archived within Oceaneering Document Management System as per requirements. Perform lessons learnt with all project stakeholders and keep records. Assist with any other duties as and when required for ongoing preservation, storage and maintenance within Oceaneering. Review and understand of Engineering product through design, drawing, BOM, Operational & Maintenance Manual. Identify the need and prepare work packs, work instructions and procedures to drive preservation & maintenance activities in an efficient way. Organizational skill with strong technical & leadership aptitude. Identifying and leading continuous improvement initiatives and processes. Preparing project reports, contractual documents & presentation for management, Client or other stakeholders as required. Qualifications Qualifications and experience: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering 7 years of project engineering experience preferably from Subsea Engineering Project engineering/management experience in maintenance of hydraulic and electrical equipment Experience in Pipeline design and repairs, asset management/asset integrity Understanding of engineering design drawings - BOM Experience in creating procedure/work instructions. Other Requirements, Skills, and Aptitudes Demonstrated leadership, communication, Organizational & planning skills. Ability to maintain good Client relationships. Proactive, motivated, team player, and committed to process and system improvement. Advanced computer skills. MS Office suite and the ability and willingness to learn new systems independently. Attention to detail and takes pride in delivering to a high standard outcome.
