About the role: Landscape Solutions is seeking a General Manager to lead our Construction & Civil division. This role presents an exciting opportunity to steer the company through a phase of growth and new possibilities we are currently experiencing. Having established itself as a leader in the Civil & Landscape sector in Australia, Landscape Solutions boasts a diverse portfolio of clients, including Tier 1 builders, local government entities, and private developers. With a national presence, we are now looking for an experienced and dynamic State Manager to oversee our company's operations and growth strategy. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive role, responsible for various aspects of the construction business, including sales, marketing, operations, finance, and human resources. They will play a crucial role in devising and executing plans to drive growth, enhance profitability, and elevate customer satisfaction. Responsibilities & Duties: Develop and execute the company's strategic plan to achieve growth targets and financial objectives. Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team to drive sales, marketing, operations, and customer service excellence. Establish and maintain relationships with key customers, suppliers, and partners to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Drive operational excellence and cost optimization initiatives to improve profitability and efficiency. Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and performance metrics. Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and ethical standards and requirements. About you: A minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior management capacity, preferably within a dynamic, evolving environment Prior engagement in Civil or Construction principal contracting based in Australia An established and demonstrable history of creating and executing effective growth strategies that finished within or under budget. A natural skill for leadership, emphasized by adept team management and capable of fostering and nurturing a team that consistently operates well. Exceptional communication, extending to both verbal & written domains, underpinned by the capacity to foster meaningful and productive relationships with stakeholders. Acute comprehension of financial and accounting principles, substantiated by hands-on involvement in budgets, predictive modelling, and comprehensive financial analysis.
