Description Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Signaling Electrician who thrives in a fast-paced environment. About the position: You will be working as part of an experienced team to deliver the ETCS L2 project. You will work closely with the Signalling Electrical Supervisor to ensure all electrical work is performed to a high standard in a safe and efficient manner. Accountabilities: Responsible for undertaking the physical construction activities. Responsible for executing construction activities by interpreting signalling documentation and drawings and functional construction documentation. Support the Electrical team and subcontractors to deliver the ETCS L2 project plan. Undertake all electrical works, in accordance with the project delivery plan. Comply with all Heath Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements and initiatives. Required skills/knowledge: 2 years' experience working in a brownfield railway signaling environment. Trade qualification in signaling and/or electrical. Demonstrated competency in implementing Health & Safety initiatives. Knowledge of software tools and technical systems.
