The Role Due to recent growth in clients and repeat business opportunities, our Melbourne office is looking for a Civil Engineer with a passion for the Built Environment to join the team. The Civil Built Form deliver various types of technically challenging projects across urban renewal / development and municipal infrastructure (earthworks, storm water, sewer, water, pavements, and road design, among others). As part of our Civil team in Melbourne, you will play a key part in Delivering various built form projects Managing projects and delivery of engineering investigation, assessment, and design and construction management documentation across a range of sectors. Design of roads, bulk earthworks, stormwater, sewer and drainage. Manage and communicate project requirements. Multi-discipline project delivery by utilising a variety of civil design packages. What we’re looking for? We want you to take control of your career and successfully operate in a highly autonomous, yet supportive, environment with the following attributes: Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering Demonstrated experience within a tier 1 and/or tier 2 engineering consultancy. Proven local experience as a competent consulting Civil Engineer Experience in preparing detailed design and documentation of roads, intersections, pavements, earthworks, and stormwater drainage. Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at the same time, whilst working autonomously. Understanding of local government regulatory frameworks and statuary compliance requirements. Working knowledge of civil design software such as 12D Model and/or Civil 3D. Competent and independent use of other civil modelling software such as DRAINS, MUSIC, HEC-RAS, Autoturn and AutoCAD. Organise and coordinate people and work in a decisive manner. Excellent communication skills - able to speak and write clearly, concisely, and compellingly Creative problem-solving skills to continually finds ways to overcome challenges and obstacles Strong team ethic to work collaboratively across multiple offices.
