UX Designer Role summary Contribute directly to the tackling Climate Change and Sustainability, work with our NSW Government client to make a real impact. As a UX Designer you will plan and facilitate interviews/workshops, streamline our internal processes, create designs and prototypes, test designs with assessors or colleagues, iterate on the prototypes, workshopping ideas with the development team, collaborating with our Business Analysts, writing user stories, documenting your process and key decisions. You will be responsible for: Understanding the current state to inform the future state. Synthesising research results and generating insights. Participating in design sprints. Creating low to high fidelity prototypes that reflect an understanding of design principles Testing designs with users and iterating accordingly. Being a strong advocate for the user’s perspective. Incorporate complex technical business requirements into research and designs. Working closely with our product team to continue improving the way we work together. Key knowledge and experience : Minimum 3-4 years as a UX Designer. Excellent communication skills, as this is a complex environment. Broad technical skills – using Figma, experience of Salesforce nice to have. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritise and work concurrently on multiple projects. Experience of best-practice digital standards, including WCAG 2.0 accessibility guidelines. Any interest or experience in Building construction would be nice to have too.
