You'd join as a Senior iOS Mobile Developer, a key player for this in-house R&D team in the northern suburbs of Sydney where you'd collaborate with Electronic, Firmware, Embedded and C++ Software Engineers. You’ll help with providing a vision of what their future iOS App will look like. The beauty of working in a collaborative environment is that you are surrounded by technical experts, there’s always someone there to reach out to for help. You’ll have flexibility to WFH three days a week, but have access to purpose built modern offices with on-site parking and nearby rail links. Let’s get into the role… You’ll work on products that are sold all around the world, with a view of most, if not all the company’s product categories, posing many new opportunities for learning. More importantly, you'll be involved from ideation through to application development. You'll be getting creative, understanding user experience, user constraints, and ultimately bringing the best possible mobile app to life. You’ll be contributing to the application architecture design of Greenfield apps, take ownership in helping with modernising a decade old legacy codebase, uplift the team’s adoption of SwiftUI and introduce best practices in the development of elegant and modern mobile applications. If you've not worked on IoT products before this will be a great environment to start. You'll learn about things like AWS and cloud architectures, over the air updates, how to build a modern iOS app that talks to sophisticated connected devices. Great expectations… If you’ve got almost a decade of mobile applications development, come from a background in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science (or similar) then you're likely to be our ideal candidate. You might also be familiar with: Strong Swift programming skills Commercial experience in developing and designing and optimising iOS apps using Swift UI and possibly Combine Working with Git version control or other similar version control systems Source code management, unit test, code review, and issue tracking systems Ability to suggest best practices and contribute to mobile application architect in the development of modern software applications If you’re ready to talk about IoT product development, please make an application and we’ll be in touch if there’s a fit.
