Biomedical Engineer - Class 1 Join the Clinical Engineering team at RMH, playing an important role supporting a high standard of care Salary packaging, close to public transport, focus on professional development Career development focus in a supportive multi-disciplinary team Your new role This role as a Biomedical Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the maintenance and repairs of a wide range of hospital equipment in accordance with Australian Standards, manufacturer's recommendations and Clinical Engineering department procedures. You will be welcomed in dynamic team and be given an opportunity to showcase your skills. This position is a Full Time Ongoing. You will be involved in Equipment Preventative Maintenance, performing or organising regular testing, calibration, maintenance and safety testing in line with Australian Standards Corrective Maintenance Liaising with stakeholders Data management Ensuring compliance with guidelines and relevant standards About you This exciting position will require a formal qualification in a Bachelor of Engineering (Biomedical) or Recognised qualification in Engineering/Science, as well as: Ability to priorities work and maximize efficiency Well-developed oral and written communication skills (including legible handwriting) Excellent organisational skills, sound judgment and initiative Aptitude for problem resolution Solid administrative and computer skills Eligible for membership with Engineers Australia Current driver's license valid for Australia Benefits of working with us Career progression opportunities to suit your professional development goals.
