The opportunity: Our Security and Technology Solutions team is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to support our Defence clients on a satellite imagery project. The roles are based at our Canberra location, and we also welcome a hybrid flexible working model. The System Engineer will support the systems and engineering functions, Project Manager and Project Director by providing system engineering expertise, advice and assistance. The required services may include: Provide specialist engineering advise Conduct capability and concept development Develop requirements analyses as well as Verification and Validation (V&V) Carry out design and implementation processes, as well as certification and support Plan and deliver engineering services, manage resources, and ensure regulatory compliance Review contracts and contract deliverables to ensure successful outcomes About you To be successful in this role, you will ideally need the following: Bachelor degree or higher in engineering Extensive experience in systems engineering within Defence projects Strong stakeholder management and client engagement skills Prior experience in consulting will be advantageous CPEng or ability to obtain will be highly regarded Hold a current NV1 or higher, and able to obtain a Top Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance (Essential) Benefits of working at SYSTRA: SYSTRA offers a range of benefits to our employees.
