An amazing opp to be involved in delivering digital workflow automation solutions in the Govt Cloud space for a multi-awarded Cloud-based company We are looking for a Senior Configuration/Release Engineer who will be part of a highly collaborative team responsible for delivering digital workflows on a single enterprise cloud-based platform for a Global Software Company recognized as 1 of the Top Fortune 100 companies to work for in 2021 & 2022 What you will be doing: Develops, analyzes & maintains Release tools that support & automate processes for hardware or software product release related to the client's platform-specific & out of box platform technologies. Writes installation scripts & programs for installation on the client's Protected Platform. Works with project teams to determine an appropriate build schedule & then initiates the build & packaging process Compiles & assembles software from source code Ensures tools are stored in source control Supports developers for software package registry & delivery Works with others to complete analysis, evaluations & design alternatives & to implement process improvements Works with development engineers to correct build errors. Skills you'll need to be successful in this role: Experience supporting & operating enterprise scale, production, web application software & infrastructure large-scale cloud platform Strong JavaScript and Jenkins programming skills. Strong debugging, testing & problem-solving skills. Solid understanding with agile software development lifecycle. Proficiency in web technologies like HTML, REST, AJAX, XML . Working experience w/ quality testing frameworks & tools using Javascript, Jenkins, JUnit, Selenium etc. Scripting languages (e.g Perl, Python & bash). Good understanding of relational database principles – queries, security, data types. Knowledge of cloud architectural components & distributed computing.
