Shifts are 4 hours and include weekend work. This casual role will see you: Design and create special make-up and hair styles to meet production requirements. Select products and equipment to meet hygiene and special requirements of talent. Keep abreast of new production styles and demonstrate a willingness to adapt to new work practices, technology, and platforms. About You You love all things cosmetics You have a positive, calm demeanour and are motivated to make people feel at their best in a pressured environment. This is a great opportunity to showcase your skills to a devoted audience. To be successful you will have: Industry recognised qualifications in creative make-up and hair styling, or equivalent experience. Experience in News and Current Affairs make-up desirable Good communication skills and an ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines in a breaking News environment. An open and collegial approach to teamwork, positive can-do attitude and enthusiasm for sharing ideas and learning with colleagues. Highly developed ability to put on-camera talent at ease and communicate with all stakeholders in a calm and effective manner.
