Salary Classification: Administration Officer Level 3 Year 1-2 Remuneration: $33.30-$34.33 per hour, excluding superannuation. About the role The Administrative Officer provides efficient medical record, clerical and scanning services to the Hospital. The role supports front line patient services, quality record management and processing. To be successful in this role, you will be willing to learn multiple electronic systems and thrive in a hybrid record management environment. Key Responsibilities Accurate and timely data entry into the Patient Administration Systems. Assist in providing comprehensive administrative and records management support services. Ensure that documentation from the most recent episodes of care is available and collated in a timely manner. Auditing and culling of the paper medical records which have been scanned into DMR (Digital Medical Record). What you bring Demonstrated attention to detail in all aspects of work and ability to prioritise work. Computer literacy including use of patient administration systems and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of privacy and confidentiality requirements as they apply in a hospital setting. Ability to process a high-volume workload, to meet deadlines and flexible in approach to work. Experience working in a Medical Record Department or office environment with the responsibility of maintaining patient records in paper and electronic formats.
