As vital as it is straightforward – you’ll be the linchpin of the site based project team, entrusted with administering and supporting the head contract. From assisting negotiating terms, to crafting client correspondence, your role transcends mere paperwork - it’s about elevating service standards and championing exceptional project outcomes. You are a true collaborator and connector, with a commitment to sparking team synergy Working on roster schedules from Brisbane, reporting to the Project Manager you will ply your trade to oversee and manage contracts within the project context, driving compliance, facilitating negotiating, and facilitate success by minimising risks, and optimising project performance through effective contract management. You will be trusted with: Scheduling and preparation of trade packages for tendering Collaborating with the procurement Manager and project team Ensuring timely reports and handle subcontractor claims Understanding scope of work and payment schedules Identifying and documenting claims Evaluating variations and process payments Providing commercial advice around procurement packages understanding the tendering and procurement guidelines and procedures Addressing contract deviations What’s In Your Toolbox? You will have at least 3 years’ experience in the Civil Construction Industry as a project administrator or contract administrator, and have relevant tertiary qualification in Building, Construction, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or similar. You have the gift of foresight and enjoy getting right into the detail when balancing competing demands. You re an exceptional communicator with the ability to think quickly, problem solve, negotiate, and make decisions that are well-informed and follow a logical trajectory.
