We are seeking a skilled IT Network Engineer to join a dedicated team and contribute to the growth and success of our one of Perth based clients. Responsibilities: Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Offer network support throughout the organization. Aid in the design, implementation, maintenance, and decommissioning of networks. Collaborate with the network lead in designing, implementing, and testing IT network services for disaster recovery (DR). Contribute to the design of IT disaster recovery plans. Recognize changes or upgrades, adhere to change management processes, communicate with the ICT team, obtain approval, and execute the implementation. Maintain network and associated hardware, software, services, and settings. Recommend, test, and implement system and security upgrades. Consistently monitor and troubleshoot network stability and performance. Create, adjust, and maintain network user settings and permissions. Skills: Strong understanding Cisco switching, routing and wireless technologies. Strong understanding of networking and standards. IP Addresses, routing protocols, security (802.1x, ACL’s), Operational knowledge of WAN technologies and services, remote access and gateway technologies. Operational knowledge of network monitoring and alerting. Operational knowledge of server services and applications. Operational knowledge understanding of security in network environments. Excellent communication skills, the ability to translate complex technical to understandable concepts. Good writing skills both technical and written communication.
