You will be working closely with Network, Storage and Data Centre specialists to design, build and integrate multiple VMware Clusters. As a VMware Engineer, you will design and build new VMware Clusters in line with industry best practices. You will be responsible for platform resiliency testing and complete full Production Readiness requirements including design and SOP documentation. You will also be responsible for transition new platforms to production support team. What you offer 5 years experience installing and building physical ESXi servers in data centres Experience designing, implementing and supporting VMware solutions based on industry best-practices such as VMware Validated Designs and VCF. Including new vCenter and new Cluster deployments. Strong knowledge of VMware metro-clusters and storage replication technology Good documentation skills and operational awareness Experience working with infrastructure teams to build highly resilient platforms, as well as the ability to work independently Experience integrating new solutions with existing management toolsets such vRealize Operations, Log Insight and automation platforms Highly competent in managing to your time, tasks and key stakeholders Ability to communicate effectively, cooperate and deliver to tight deadlines.
