Job Description Role Based in Perth - WA Permanent - Full Time SGS Australia is seeking an experienced, capable, dedicated, LIMS Administrator to join our team in Perth. This position will require to co-ordinate projects, tasks and processes related to the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) with various key personnel and to develop tools, processes and procedures to further improve productivity and efficiency of LIMS for SGS laboratories. Some other responsibilities will be the following but not limited to: Maintain system services- Taskman, Repgen, and Document Assembler Periodically perform audits of system services in accordance with agreed schedules, as well as business processes and user actions within the LIMS, to ensure compliance, efficiency, as well as data accuracy and precision Delegate and approve system local configuration such as Biofields, userdata, QC, canned comments, holidays, lab sections, instruments, rounding, unique numbers. Know how to break down issues, find root causes, and interpret business requirements & apply business rules, when finding solutions Provide L1 support of LIMS issues to all Australian and PNG Environmental and AFL Laboratories Triage issues and escalate support requests using ServiceNow as required Be aware of relevant Quality System, Policies and Guidelines in order to provide guidance to local management and ensure compliance in the LIMS
