Position/Title: Sales Director – APAC ( with mining and metals solutions selling experience) The Sales Director role is responsible for identifying sales opportunities and driving these to successful closure. Experience Extensive experience in senior sales roles within a product environment Proven experience in identifying, developing & closing deals and working with Sales quotas Extensive network of contacts in the Agribusiness and/or commodity trading sector within the territory Proven ability to provide exceptional Account Management to clients Agribusiness and/or commodities industry experience Skills Demonstrated Field Sales experience in the Technology industry targeting Fortune 500 Accounts Previous experience IT Sales, selling enterprise solutions, ERPs or software products is a must Fundamental understanding of freight and mining logistics (good to have) Proven ability to sell large deals and to meet/exceed quotas Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, Goal oriented, self-motivated, Able to work independently, but within a team environment Confident, competitive, thorough and tenacious attitude Fluency in English (must) Responsibilities : Generate, develop, and close sales opportunities with a focus on large global organizations Generate and maintain account plans per client/industry to ensure penetration into the target accounts Ability to understand complex customer requirements at both business and technical level Develop and provide custom presentations on Eka’s products to customers Develop effective strategies for winning in a competitive environment Co-ordinate, manage, direct & motivate a virtual teams during the sales cycle. Meet/exceed quarterly sales targets Share input on customer needs with product management, marketing and engineering organizations Frequent travel around defined territory Education : Bachelor’s Degree or higher. MBA and/or Industry specific courses are an added plus
