About the role This newly created role, will deliver quality customer and administrative services at the City’s new Northern Aquatic & Community Hub, which will include customer liaison, facility bookings, programming, merchandise sales and office management including. The role will oversee a team of reception staff and will assist with queries from customers, patrons and staff. Work type: Permanent Full Time Classification: Band 4 $69,560 - $74,316 (pa plus super) Key responsibilities include: Perform administrative and reception duties for the Leisure Services department including accounting and cash handling processes. Perform the daily duties involved in the opening or closing of the complex. Assist with staffing supervision and issues, including rostering. Maintain a high level of Customer Service Standards including efficient customer communication, customer information and feedback process. About you The ideal candidate for this role will have a background in a customer service environment, along with administration/reception experience and exposure to the supervision of staff. You will be a team player, with a proactive approach to your work and solutions focused, have high levels of resilience and conflict management skills and be comfortable liaising with a diverse range of people. Essential Experience: Sound knowledge of reception administrative functions and cash control procedures is essential. Good leadership skills with demonstrated ability to supervise staff. Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships with staff and client groups Ability to contribute to the planning and implementation of marketing strategies for the centre.
