PRIMARY DETAIL Provide hotel reception services in this varied role, processing guest check ins and check outs with excellent customer service. THE ROLE Join our hotel front desk team in this customer facing role providing guest services in a polite and friendly manner. This varied role includes checking in and out guests, handling enquiries and supporting the Conferencing and Room Service Teams as needed. ABOUT YOU You are someone who believes the core of hospitality is customer service. You are great at multi-tasking, have excellent communication skills and can think on your feet to solve problems. To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous front office, customer service and/or sales experience. Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills. Well-presented with keen attention to detail and cultural sensitivity/awareness. Strong time management and problem-solving skills. Cash handling and transaction processing experience. Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite of programs and knowledge of Opera Property Management System (desirable) This role requires successful applicants to undergo a Criminal History Check and must have the right to work in Australia.
