We are looking for a candidate who possess: Certificate III in individual Support, or equivalent (Aged Care) minimum 12 months experience in residential aged or disability care Commitment to providing an ongoing quality care high standard care to residents. Understanding of the National Quality Framework Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Have a current WWCC, First Aid Training certificate including Asthma and Anaphylaxis management and experience in palliative care support (desired) Demonstrate respect, kindness and integrity when providing care to residents' families and team members. Have a genuine passion for working in aged care industry. Offer support to enhance patients’ mobility and communication. Have the ability to assist in planning programs. Be an active contributor within a team. Bring positive energy and enthusiasm to their role. Have the ability to understand and adhere to centre policies, procedures and operational practices at all times. Value, prioritise and advocate for health, safety and wellbeing. Collaborate in the development of personalized care plans for individuals. Attending to the needs of persons in their daily activities and mobility. Asist clients with dressing and other personal hygiene. Arranging daily social activities and providing emotional support, friendship and companionship to clients. Preparing meals and may need to feed the patients. Observe and report changes in patents conditions as well as addressing any care related complaints. When required, the willingness to run errands and do shopping for the clients. In limited cases you may be required to live with the client.
