Medical Imaging Receptionist Imaging Associates provides a fresh approach to Radiology and is owned by a team of well-respected Radiologists with a private practice in Wagga Wagga, as well as across the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, and Gippsland. We have built a strong reputation for the high-quality imaging service we provide, along with our friendly and welcoming patient-centred approach. Our Wagga Wagga clinic was established in 2014 as an independent, state-of-the-art imaging practice, located within the Wagga Wagga Specialist Medical Centre. With the introduction of a second clinic in Wagga Wagga in late 2023, a full-time opportunity has arisen for a customer-focused Medical Imaging Receptionist to join our friendly and professional team. What will you be doing? As the first point of contact, you’ll take great pride in the care and compassion you show to patients, along with the quality of the work you do. By drawing on your professionalism and friendly nature, you’ll put patients at ease, guiding them through their visit to the practice while contributing to the smooth operation of the practice. Key responsibilities include: Welcoming patients and providing them with information about their appointment Managing calls and patient bookings Responding to enquiries from patients and referrers Managing patient invoicing and receipting What are we looking for? To thrive in this role, you will have: Exceptional customer service skills and communication skills Experience working autonomously and part of a team Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes Confidence with technology and the ability to learn new systems Availability to work across a 5-day rotating roster that covers the operational hours of 7:30am to 7pm (Mon to Thu), 7:30am to 5pm (Fri) and 8am to 12pm (Sat) Experience in a medical administration role and/or exposure to Medicare services will be well regarded What do we offer?
