About the role: This is an important sales management opportunity within our business - requiring an energetic sales management professional with a unique blend of strategic and operational expertise which will enable you to drive day to day business as well as help to influence and contribute to the strategic direction of the business. You will be required to maximise opportunities with existing and new clients; deliver agreed sales targets and business goals and develop and maintain relationships with major clients, engineers and contractors. You will also provide inspirational leadership to a high performing team of Account Management, Customer Service and Project Delivery professionals navigating this highly competitive market. Detailed responsibilities are found in the PD which is available upon request and will include: Development and maintenance of a quantifiable sales plan - aligned to both operational and strategic business objectives. Assigning key sales territories Providing coaching & mentoring and identifying training needs Delivering agreed sales targets and goals through leadership of key account and account managers Conducting negotiation and presentations at senior level. Maintaining and enhancing positive working relationships with customers to build customer loyalty and maximise future business opportunities. Providing accurate and timely forecasts of future demand and communicating market intelligence to optimise customer contact plans. Developing and maintaining positive working relationships within the business. About you: Qualifications in Civil Engineering (preferred). Pre-cast industry experience (preferred). An established network within the precast or related sectors e.g. concrete, aggregates, building materials, industrial manufacturing or similar is preferred Strong and relevant sales management experience Credible project/ project management experience A self-motivated and outcomes-orientated attitude with a passionate ‘can do' mind set Highly effective skills at managing key stakeholder relationships A strong team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills A well-developed understanding of the importance of and ability to effectively communicate and build relationships both externally and within the business A high proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Sales Force and other systems required to do the role effectively You will be ‘street-smart', level headed and down to earth with exemplary standards of ethical conduct and professional judgment with a positive, resilient, curious and goal orientated nature. This will be complimented by your focus on coaching and developing others and by your clear ability to find ways to put together solutions that add value for your customers.
