As a SharePoint Engineer, you will join the wider Corporate Operations Group and be part of the existing Collaboration Tools team, where you will provide specialised technical expertise and best practice recommendations on SharePoint Online around development, document management and information architecture. You will join a dynamic team and drive forward our cloud transformation and automation. You will have an Agile mindset and keen interest in software engineering across a range of technologies, while showcasing great communication skills and be a self-motivated team player. You will have experience in risk management and applying a risk mindset in day-to-day activities. We anticipate that to excel in this role you will have: 2 years experience with Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint Online, Azure Active Directory, and Microsoft Power Platform A good understanding of Microsoft 365 roadmap, and the ability to evaluate the applicability for business productivity solutions experience with PowerShell scripting and SharePoint Framework (SPFx) experience with document management and SharePoint modern sites experience with migration tools including Sharegate/Metalogix experience with integrations and migration paths from on-prem solutions to Microsoft 365 knowledge of Azure services. In addition, your skills/background will ideally include: a customer-obsessed attitude with excellent communication skills an ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders an ability to work in projects with complex requirements a strong interest in delivering and enhancing user experience and productivity an ability to analyse and optimise business processes a demonstrated ability to exhibit technical credibility with both IT and business stakeholders an understanding of Service Management including change, incident, and problem management as it applies to a large corporate environment and use of an ITSM tool such as Remedy experience working in a DevOps and/or Agile environment ability to take initiative, work independently, and manage tasks to a timeline.
