You will need to commit to full-time office hours until end of January 2025. To qualify for this program, you must be an undergraduate student currently completing your penultimate year of study. As at January 2024, you must have a remaining 12 months or 2 semesters of study to complete your degree. Ideally, you are studying a Engineering related degree. In addition to this, we will offer you the opportunity to take part in our mentoring program to address individual development needs. The role: As the Product Management and Engineering Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the product management and engineering activities of Freightliner, Fuso or Mercedes-Benz Truck, and collaborating with your team to work towards achieving company goals. Key tasks will include: Providing engineering technical support to dealers and body builders Assisting with the design, development and procurement of local kits Assisting with rating letters and spec sheets, assisting with the development of new model Specs and pricing Assisting with the safety feature demonstration days Qualifications Who we are looking for: We are looking for innovative and highly driven students with a strong desire to help shape our fast-growing global business. Your keen eye for detail will ensure accuracy in the work you produce, and enable you to develop or document new processes and initiatives. A strong interest in immersing yourself in this role will lead you to achieve greater insights into this business unit, and the Truck industry as a whole as you begin your career in Product and Engineering.
