In this role, you will provide technical delivery and operational support for Mining Technology initiatives comprising networks, infrastructure, and systems across surface and underground environments. Provide guidance and tooling to empower clients and sites to operate self-sufficient and resilient Operational Technology (OT) systems. About the role – Position Objectives / KPI's Develop high and low-level network, infrastructure, and systems designs for site and client project requirements through effective stakeholder engagement. Deliver operational network and systems infrastructure to project and internal requirements. Transition networks and systems into the Operational Support function with appropriate documentation, handover, and tooling. Provide continuing level 3 technical support of productionised operational networks, infrastructure, and systems. Maintain and develop supporting systems for operational network and infrastructure management. Champion network and systems progression through DevOps principles such as automation, and infrastructure-as-code. Skills, Knowledge & Experience 5 years’ experience designing, deploying, and supporting multi-vendor enterprise or industrial fixed and wireless networks. 5 years’ experience designing and troubleshooting secure networks and next-generation firewalls. 5 years’ experience administering Linux and Windows systems, containerisation, and hypervisor infrastructure. Practical experience designing, deploying, and troubleshooting network features: micro-segmentation, IEC-62443 industrial DMZ, topology management, wireless mesh, overlay networks, IoT traffic Experience with network monitoring systems and tools, and IT service management.
