Realise your potential at yourtown your opportunity The Cloud Systems Engineer is a key player in the design, implementation, and maintenance of Azure-based solutions for our organisation. Based at our Milton Head Office, this role involves ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of the network and cloud infrastructure at yourtown , while also focusing on performance optimisation and automation initiatives. Collaboration with a proficient team of cloud administrators is integral, as we aim to enhance our DevOps capabilities, modernise on-premises infrastructure, and foster innovation in the Cloud Enablement domain. As the Cloud Systems Engineer, you will: • Manage network activities, including the continuous improvement of VPNs, Wi-Fi designs, and configurations. Implement consistent policy applications through the configuration of FortiManager. • Work closely with our Architecture Review Group to design Azure cloud-based solutions, ensuring alignment with Microsoft Azure Reference Architectures. • Take responsibility for the secure and compliant operation of our cloud platforms, focusing on Azure environments. • Analyse and troubleshoot infrastructure incidents across both on-premises and cloud environments. what we are looking for • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, backed by over 5 years of hands-on experience in Cloud network and infrastructure. • Bring robust expertise in designing and implementing network and security solutions, especially in a hybrid environment featuring technologies like Fortigate, Cisco, Azure Express Route, and Azure Networking. • Boast in-depth experience and knowledge in Azure Cloud, particularly in roles involving build and support. • Possess a solid grasp of cloud security concepts, identity and access management, and compliance requirements. your benefits When you join yourtown you will be welcomed into a safe, inclusive, and diverse community and an established and reputable national organisation.
