About the role We are delighted to announce that we currently have an opportunity for a Senior Engineer - Mechanical to join our team at our Perth, WA site. This role provides senior-level design and development support for a specific technology to enable commercialisation of products. LI-DNI What you will be doing Designing and developing advanced downhole geophysical tools as part of an R&D team. Detailed Design and modeling in CAD, and experience with OnShape are a bonus. Modeling of stress, temperature, and pressure regimes in ANSYS. Rapid prototyping and testing of parts in the development process. Documenting the design process and decision points. Writing of procedures and manuals for developed products for new product implementation. Developing testing and assembly jigs for the associated products. What you will bring Minimum 5 years of experience post-professional qualification. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Experience in implementing process improvement initiatives would be desirable. An attitude of taking ownership of tasks.
