About You This role will suit a highly organised, dedicated and detail orientated administrator. You will become an integral part of our supportive team. this position is offered on a permanent full-time basis accruing a monthly RDO. This position is based out of our newly renovated, sun lit central office - opposite the QVB on York Street, Sydney. The office is only a very short walk from Town Hall train station. To be successful in the role you will have: Experience with computer-based finance packages Knowledge of Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children Knowledge of the Australian Government Child Care Subsidy Scheme and the Child Care Handbook Understand the Preschools and CCS funding models and the implications for processing administration tasks Understanding of Victorian Kindergartens funding models and accountabilities Ability to communicate with colleagues, service staff, families and community members in a professional and customer focused manner Experience and sound knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Windows programs Previous administration experience Previous finance/accounting experience Demonstrate initiative, attention to detail and organisational skills Desirable attributes: Previous administrative experience working as an Administration Assistant in a Early Education services Knowledge of Storypark Manage software Your key responsibilities will include: Contribute positively to the operations of KU and the realisation of the organization's Strategic Plan Goals Complete desktop administrative duties associated with the operation of a service as requested by the Director, including, but not limited to: Managing and maintaining enrolments in XAP Data entry requirements Managing service emails and contact with families Processing and receipting of fees in accordance with Family Assistance Law and Child Care Subsidy requirements Follows directions and requests from Director of service Admin is working with Please submit your updated Cover Letter and Resume via the ' APPLY NOW ' button.
