About the team The FIS Australasia technology team consists of 60 people based in Melbourne, Sydney, Manila, and India. About the role The role within the technology team requires working in a dynamic and fast-growing environment. Our team is responsible for deploying and running new technology stacks, maintaining server infrastructure, networks, cloud connectivity, and meeting our customer's needs. The role we're offering involves working with the project delivery team to set up new server deployments with various applications and connectivity requirements. This work is crucial and contributes to our existing fleet of over 1000 servers. If this sounds like you, we encourage you to apply What you will be doing Install, configure, implement, and maintain systems Work on large, complex systems in multiple technical environments Monitor usage and optimize system performance Provide technical analysis and propose solutions Research, evaluate, and recommend software products Automate manual tasks using scripting or application development Implement system enhancements for reliability and performance Maintain stable and secure systems environment Manage SSL/TLS Certificates Assist in deployment of releases Participate in on-call rotation for escalations Perform other related duties assigned as needed What you bring At least 4 years of hands-on experience in Red Hat Linux/System Administration Mid-Senior level experience with Linux Operating System (preferably Red Hat) Scripting skills (Perl/Bourne) Working knowledge of VMWare Experience in SSL/TLS Certificate management Knowledge of TCP/IP, network monitoring, and technical writing IT security conceptual knowledge and experience in remediating vulnerabilities Effective analytical, problem-solving, installation, and maintenance skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong verbal and written communication skills A bonus if you have experience in the following areas Kafka, Red Hat OpenShift, and Kubernetes F5 JBoss Ansible Containers (e.g., Docker, Podman) Nagios Splunk ITSM processes using Jira or SNOW Knowledge of multiple operating systems and related utilities and hardware What we offer you A multifaceted job with a high degree of responsibility and opportunities Flexible working arrangements Great benefits including medical and personal insurances and employee share scheme A modern, international work environment and a dedicated and motivated team LI-TC2 Privacy Statement FIS is committed to protecting the privacy and security of all personal information that we process to provide services to our clients.
