The Role Applications are invited from qualified classroom teachers for a specialist role in teaching Individuals & Societies / Humanities (Years 7 – 9). This is a part time (0.4 FTE), 12-month fixed term position commencing Term 1 2024, at Caulfield Grammar School’s Wheelers Hill Campus. The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong desire to keep learning about Individuals & Societies, developing their teaching, and will be comfortable utilising learning technologies. Key Duties Deliver learning programs that demonstrate a research based knowledge of how students learn, including integrating formative practice and providing continuous feedback Prepare instructional activities that facilitate engaging and appropriate learning opportunities for all Provide a safe and supportive classroom culture Contribute to our visible wellbeing program to enable students to thrive and belong Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours Skills and Experience A passion for Middle School education Exceptional knowledge and experience in teaching Humanities/ Individuals & Societies curriculum, including focus on Geography Experience in MYP will be highly regarded Teaching qualifications Hold a current VIT Registration For further information please see Position Description.
