The Role PLC is inviting interest for a part-time (indicative 0.5 FTE) fixed-term vacancy for Term 1 2024, covering a staff member on leave. This role is not a classroom teaching role, but is an opportunity for a competent English teacher who is interested in tutoring individuals and small groups who are seeking additional support and enrichment in their English studies. Sessions will run between 1pm and 4.30pm Monday to Friday. The incumbent will work closely with an accomplished, highly collaborative team of educators who are focused on creative, reflective development of curriculum and outcomes for our students. About You You will be a passionate English / Literature educator with experience teaching senior English courses (Years 9-12), including VCE / or IB English and Literature. You will have sound knowledge of current practice through AITSL standards, can confidently guide, develop and nurture our students’ love of learning, whilst also understanding the need for strong academic practice and the maintenance of high standards amongst our students. You will represent a positive role model for young women, be able to relate well to students, colleagues and parents, and be committed to the integrity and Christian ethos of the College.
