About the role We are very excited to announce that we are on the lookout for an energetic and solutions-focused Production & Process Engineer to join our high performing production team at our Global Head Offices in Windsor, Brisbane. Working on a Monday - Friday basis, the Production & Process Engineer will be responsible for the development, documentation, and delivery of robust, safe, sustainable, efficient, and cost-effective assembly processes to deliver on the production team's output, goals and KPI's. Our Brisbane based production team are charged with building and assembling radars and scanners which are used across the globe in some of the world's most iconic and largest mining and infrastructure projects. As our business grows, demand for our products is increasing across the world. Our team is getting larger and larger each year; therefore this position can be seen as a genuine career growth and development opportunity. What you will be doing Scope, Design, develop, document, and implement robust, safe, sustainable, efficient, and cost-effective production assembly and test processes; Establish production standard work for each product with a focus on Safety, Quality and Efficiency; Lead continuous improvement activities and workshops in line with system and team goals; Assist in the training of team members for new or changed products; Work with the QA engineer to support quality investigations, root cause analysis, corrective action and management of quality issues and the quality systems; Engineering change request lead for production; Manage new product transition from product development to production team; Provide first point of contact for production (Brisbane and Tucson, AZ) on yield and throughput issues; Establish production standard work for each product with a focus on Safety, Quality and Efficiency. What you will bring Most importantly, sharing our key charter value of 'Safety is Our Priority, Always'; 3-5 years exposure to similar production or manufacturing engineering role; A formal trade or academic qualification in a relevant discipline in either Electrical or Electronic Engineering. Ability to successfully diagnose performance trends and deliver and continuously improve production output; Knowledge of applicable standards for plant and equipment safety; Lean manufacturing experience is desirable; Process engineering project implementation experience for new and changed products and processes Knowledge of ISO9001 Quality Management Systems and continuous Improvement tools and practices What we offer As part of a truly global company, you will have the ability to grow and learn in a diverse, collaborative culture.
