Looking for a Legal Clerk (Estate Planning) to provide administrative support to the Wills & Estate Planning Legal team in a large government dept. Contract role till August 2024 with possible extension. Hourly pay rate up to $43.25/hour Super. Hybrid work arrangement (WFH Sydney CBD). Immediate start. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: You will be the key point of contact for customers and stakeholders to assist with enquiries and deliver excellent customer service. The role also provides administrative support to the Wills and Estate Planning Legal teams to ensure the provision of seamless services that are customer and outcomes focused. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Act as a point of contact and respond to enquiries from customers and stakeholders to provide a timely and effective information and referral service. Undertake a range of administrative support services relating to the work of the team and division, including, but not limited to, word processing, data entry, fee agreements, correspondence and meeting papers and minutes, maintaining electronic and file records (including file closure and safe custody of document processes) and support with meetings and events. Prepare legal documents (such as Powers of Attorney, Appointments of Enduring Guardianship, and Wills) and witness documents. Collaborate with the Customer Experience Division to deliver consistent and coordinated advice to customers by maintaining a contemporary approach to service delivery and customer engagement through a range of strategies including face-to-face, and video conferencing at location and remotely. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA: Provide administration, phone, and email management services to a range of internal and external customers in a high-volume working environment and determining the appropriate response or allocation of the enquiry. Maintain sensitivity, accuracy, discretion and a professional manner in handling enquiries, issues, and files.
