Administration Assistant Part Time Fixed Term until 2025 - 48 hours per fortnight Centrally based at Parkville Campus Great benefits including salary packaging 5 weeks annual leave Your new team Aged Care Assessment Service is an innovative, leading provider of comprehensive assessment services across north western metro Melbourne with a recent expansion into the provision of Regional Assessment Services (RAS) for the Local Government Area of Hume. The Regional Assessment Service conducts Home Support Assessments to assess eligibility for entry level home care services through the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP), with focus on reablement and to support older people to remain independently as possible. NWACAS and Hume RAS are core components of the Commonwealth My Aged Care assessment workforce, supporting older members of our community The service supports the clinical staff in managing throughput and phone calls, ensuring consumers are triaged to the appropriate person. Your new role: Deliver a professional and caring customer focused service, often as the first point of contact and communication for patients, their families and visitorsEnsure workloads across the admin team are monitored and managed on a daily basis Work as part of a multidisciplinary team including leadership, clinical, medical, and other administrative staff Effective Communicate with our peer and senior admin manager Ensure all admin tasks are managed effectively and efficiently Completing registrations, scheduling appointments, processing discharges, managing/triaging phone calls, reception, stock management of forms, stationery and officer supplies. Data and record management using My Aged Care Assessor portal, efficiently and appropriately About You: You will have initiative, a commitment to excellence, analytical and problem-solving skills, an ability to think conceptually as well as creatively, and the capacity and aptitude to.
