Driven by company growth and a need to improve and understand their customers in greater detail, they are looking for an additional Senior UX Designer to join their small but growing team. The key focus of the role is high quality UX work, including research, as part of a distributed development team delivering on the product roadmap for their website and mobile application. They are working towards creating seamless and intuitive designs, resulting in an outstanding customer experience and constantly evolving the way their customers connect with them. Key responsibilities Ongoing completion and use of UX research to uncover customer needs and points of friction in existing journeys Contribute to and advocate for our overall CX/UX strategy Be a true champion for their customers by adopting a continuous discovery mindset and regularly conducting and reviewing qualitative and quantitative research and analytics to drive better outcomes for customers and the organisation Define, design, develop and deliver UX designs to improve / increase functionality of the mobile, app and web Development of interactive prototypes, journey maps, task flows, and wireframes Working with internal and external stakeholders to conduct usability testing and complete UX designs, ensuring customer needs are balanced with business goals and technical feasibility Work closely with the visual design lead and delivery teams to ensure UI is consistent with desired outcomes Key competencies UX experience in web, mobile and mobile applications Adept in Agile and/or Lean ways of working, process practices and principles Strong working knowledge of HTML and CSS Sound understanding of Human Centred Design and UX best practices Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills Experience in Design System (able to use, contribute to, and identify common components required to support a wide array of use cases) Solid understanding of responsive design principles and accessibility standards Strong working knowledge of Figma and Miro for collaboration and design Excellent organisational and time management skills A strong team player and individual contributor Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail Experience & qualifications 6 years' experience in a similar role in-house or in an agency Proven experience in end-to-end UX design and implementation across web, responsive mobile and native applications An ability to bring design decisions/ideas to life with a compelling narrative Demonstrated ability to work in a distributed team environment Experience working in an Agile way of working and/or Lean environment Financial services experience preferred Relevant qualifications in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Nielsen Norman UX certificate, Design or a related field preferred. Experience facilitating design thinking workshops to ideate, collaborate and align with stakeholders and using data analytics (Google Analytics, Hotjar/Microsoft Clarity and Dovetail) This is an extraordinary opportunity to apply your skills whilst making a positive difference to the world.
