With a surgeon on-call 24/7, they are committed to providing an excellent patient experience. WHAT YOU WILL MANAGE This organisation is currently looking for a top notch Receptionist, full-time, in their Macquarie Park office, to undertake general reception duties, including answering the phone, keeping rooms and office areas tidy, general administration tasks, assisting patients with completing forms etc. You will be liaising and supporting both internal staff such as surgeons and their PA’s along with patients and other practices with an emphasis on integrity, innovation, collaboration, compassion, and professionalism. The role will be heavily administrative and will be responsible for scanning and uploading all patient correspondence addressed to the consultant doctor in their medical software. You will have a can do attitude and a passion to work in the medical field and with some of the best neurosurgeons in the world WHAT EXPERIENCE WILL YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB? Minimum 1-3 years reception/personal assistant experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. Sound communication skills, with the capacity to communicate effectively with doctors, staff, patients, and other healthcare professionals. Excellent telephone manner. Proficient in Outlook and Word - Excel and PowerPoint a plus. Experience with medical record systems, preferably Genie Solutions. Exceptional customer service skills. Ability to protect patient privacy and confidentiality. Ability to prioritise and organise workflow effectively. Ability to work within a team, as well as independently.
